RHINO BUCKET Looking For CD Artwork Ideas
November 14, 2005RHINO BUCKET, the Bon Scott-era AC/DC sound-alike band that recorded two albums for Warner Bros./EMI back in '90 and '92 and an independent album in '94 with former AC/DC drummer Simon Wright, will release their as-yet-untitled fourth album on February 21, 2006 via Acetate Records. The CD was mixed at Soundface Studios in Hollywood, California and was produced by the band and Stephan Siggurson.
In a posting on the band's official web site, RHINO BUCKET vocalist/guitarist Georg Dolivo writes, "We need all interested parties to submit all artwork ideas for the cover of the new CD. Here's the deal: if we use it, you will get paid and a credit on the CD liner notes. But, and please people, I mean this, NO RHINOS or HORNS or BUCKETS. While I have received some great ideas from all of you, they all seem to contain a RHINO or a BUCKET. And you know what? I'm over it. I'm not an artist, my canvas is a loud guitar and my band but if you think you've got something new and original to offer, go for it. E-mail me the idea (at [email protected]). Make sure that you always include your contact information so that I can call you if you're selected. If selected, we'll have you go through a couple of revisions and then, BAM, you're a certified CD cover artist! To be fair, we are looking for more of a illustration/logo for the front cover. The pics will all be in the booklet. If you can see it look good on the CD cover, a t-shirt, a hat and a belt buckle then you're sure to win. Good luck..."
As previously reported, RHINO BUCKET have posted a new video for their song "Blood, Sweat and Beers" at this location. The track appears in the new film "The Outdoorsmen" and will also be included on RHINO BUCKET's upcoming CD.
